Two Tenths Of A Second

Two tenths of a second can be the difference between winning and losing in Formula 1 Racing.

That may not seem like much, but when you consider that the average lap time in Formula 1 is about a minute and a half, it’s clear that every tenth of a second counts.

The margin for error in Formula 1 is incredibly small, and even the slightest mistake can be costly.

As a result, drivers must be incredibly precise and focused in order to be successful.

I want nothing more than for you to be successful.

This Week's Growth Tip

Last week we talked about commitment, this week is about focus.

Commitment and focus are like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

You can’t have one without the other.

Focus is the art of knowing what to ignore.

As I get older I am finding it is more about what you say no to.

You can’t commit and you can’t focus if you are getting pulled in hundred different directions.

If you’re having trouble staying focused, you may want to ask yourself if you’re actually committed to making it happen.
