Over the last few months I’ve been working on something new for you.
Before I tell you what it is, I want you to think about the last time that you did something new.
Not trying something new, like that hipster restaurant your significant other dragged you to last week with the triple ipa and overpriced steak frites.
But when is the last time you actually committed to something new in your life or business?
Heck maybe you just need to recommit to something that was working but for you just stopped for some reason.
We’ve all been there.
Committing to something is not easy. It takes hard work, perseverance, and discipline.
Mario Andretti once said, “Desire is the key to motivation, but it’s the determination and commitment to an unrelenting pursuit of your goal – a commitment to excellence – that will enable you to attain the success you seek.”
If you aren’t familiar, Mario Andretti is one of the most successful Americans in the history of motorsports. He is one of only two drivers to have won races in Formula One, IndyCar, the World Sportscar Championship, and NASCAR.
Formula One racers speed around the track at an average speed of 130MPH and can go faster than 200MPH, but it is only a mere two tenths of a second (0.2 seconds) difference between winning and losing.
I don’t know about you, but I’m not really a fan of losing; losing time, losing money, losing clients, losing my phone down the seat crevice.
And hopefully, I haven’t lost you, yet.
I certainly don’t want you to feel like I am wasting your time.
My goal with The Dig is to give practical sales & marketing tips for contractors in less than 2 minutes each and every week.
I’m committing to deliver you, The Dig.
